A Word From Andre
Hello and welcome. AJ Electrical is a privately owned, family-run business based on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast. My team and I service Red Beach, Whangaparāoa, Gulf Harbour, Orewa, Silverdale and the wider Rodney area. I grew up in the area, and I’m lucky enough to be able to raise my own family here now.
I attended Orewa College, then trained through an apprenticeship in domestic, commercial and marine electrical work. After that I went to sea for a number of years as a marine engineer on superyachts, where I built a strong work ethic and sharp fault finding and installation skills while travelling the world.
I returned to land in 2009 and went back to my electrical background, working on high end local homes. I formed AJ Electrical in 2011, and it started out as just me. I’m proud to say the business has grown steadily every year since.
When I started the company, I had the customer front of mind. I aim to keep costs down, and I’m not happy until you are. Quality of work matters enormously to me and the whole team.
Andre is the founder of AJ Electrical. He enjoys hosting BBQs with friends and family.
AKA Oli #2, our very own rock star. Whenever Oliver’s not installing electrical systems, he plays guitar on stage in his band!
Oliver is an adventurous guy who enjoys spending time at church, sailing and four wheel driving with mates.
Cameron is a great sparky with a friendly approach. He is a valuable team member, and enjoys golf and soccer.
Quinton enjoys being out on the open water on his jet skis and fishing off the rocks. When he’s back on land, he enjoys motocross and four wheel driving with mates.
Lucas is set to make a great start in the industry with a great attitude. He enjoys the gym, and flexing those guns!
